I was genuinely surprised when a representative from Critique Communications called me up while I was in Chiangmai for a meeting. He was interested in my shot of Umiam Lake, near Shillong. He was doing this ad for the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, he said. The catch was to promote Shillong, that it’s as beautiful as Scotland. It would be nice to contribute to the country and the effort to promote tourism, I thought to myself and consented for him to use my photo for the purpose.
This is the result of the effort. Hope you like it.
